Strings of Attachment is a series of textile collages that investigates the dynamics of mastery and submission through the metaphor of music. In this body of work, music is approached as an affective force capable of bending the listener’s will, eliciting a form of voluntary surrender. Drawing on the mythological motif of the siren song, the works explore how sound operates not through coercion but through seduction, weaving immaterial bonds that hold with greater strength than physical restraints. The collages function as both visual and conceptual reflections on how intangible experiences, such as music, generate structures of power, desire, and attachment.
